Rory Michael Sweeney

Rory Michael Sweeney is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Maynard Auctions, with responsibility for the company’s overall operations, commercial growth and day-to-day execution.

He oversees the operational direction of the business across sales, business development, partnerships, systems, processes, team performance and market expansion, with a focus on building scalable infrastructure and driving sustainable growth across the company.

With a strong background in Dubai real estate, brokerage and property investment, Rory also brings specialist knowledge of the UAE property market and auction sector. His experience gives him a practical understanding of property valuation, investment strategy, sales execution and the needs of both buyers and sellers.

As COO, Rory works across all areas of the business to ensure strategy is translated into execution, while identifying new revenue opportunities, improving operational efficiency and supporting the continued expansion of Maynard Auctions across the UAE and wider region.

His approach combines commercial thinking, market knowledge and hands-on leadership, with a strong focus on growth, performance and building long-term value.

Outside of business, Rory has a strong interest in football and combat sports, reflecting the discipline, competitiveness and consistency he brings to both leadership and entrepreneurship.
